About Us

Hello.  Meet our Founder, Karin Sparber. She is a self-starter dedicated to assisting businesses - solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, small and large companies. Having worked in a virtual setting for over 20 years, Karin is dependable, proactive and has excellent communication skills.  

Karin comes from an entrepreneurial background. She started her career in her family's retail store, where she was responsible for hiring, training, and managing employees - including manually processing payroll!  Karin then went to work for a large national drug store company, starting in their Management Training Program and then moving into the Assistant Store Manager role.  Next, she went to work for a regional discount retailer in their Home Office, first working in merchandise distribution and then moving into merchandise buying.  After her time in the retail industry, Karin worked as a Senior Consultant for one of the nation's top Retained Executive Search firms.  She spent five years with this firm, participating in the full life-cycle process from cold calling potential candidates to sourcing and qualifying them and then finally presenting and placing these individuals.  

After taking some time off to be the Family CEO (which is a MAJOR job in itself requiring lots of coordination and patience), Karin went back to work in 2012 as a Virtual Assistant for a boutique Retained Executive Search firm.  She provided a variety of administrative support such as formatting candidate resumes, proofing/editing documents, calendar/email management and social media marketing efforts.  

In January 2015, Karin started Virtual Resources 365, working with clients in a variety of industries.  Some client engagements include the following: Operations Manager for an Education Design Lab; Office Manager for a software start-up; and Hiring Coordinator for BioTech and Digital Media companies. She formed her LLC in the Fall of 2016. 

Around this same time, Karin started to work with legal practitioners.  She first worked in a Legal Assistant capacity, providing automation and client onboarding services.  From there, Karin went on to work with other practitioner clients in Consumer Debt Defense, Intellectual Property, Business, and Real Estate Law.  She provides Paralegal services, which includes substantive work ranging from entity formation, corporate document drafting, pleading drafting, loan document drafting and many other tasks.  Karin also spent six months as a Part Time employee for a Tax Controversy firm.  During this time she assisted on a variety of projects including IRS Audit substantiation and Penalty Abatement for clients.

Karin is a lifelong learner and enjoys assisting her clients focus on the BIG picture.  She graduated (with Highest Distinction) from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs, and she has completed the following continuing learning programs: Using Social Media in Business (2015, Lake County Community College), Trademark Paralegal Course (2020-2021, ALT LEGAL), and National Paralegal Certificate (2021, Washington Online Learning Institute).
